Baptism Keepsakes: Preserving The Day You Left It In The River

Some days deserve to be remembered in more than just a photo on a phone. Baptism is one of them.

On July 25, 2026, Yakima is gathering at Myron Lake for I Left It in the River — a citywide baptism celebration open to anyone ready to make a public declaration of faith. No membership required. No class to complete. Just faith, water, and a whole community showing up to witness it.

For everyone stepping into that river, and every family and friend standing on the bank cheering them on, this is a day worth holding onto — not just remembering, but keeping.

Moments that whisper are worth remembering. Because moments fade. Love doesn't.

Why Baptism Deserves A Keepsake

A baptism photo often gets taken quickly, sometimes by a stranger standing nearby, sometimes blurry from an excited hand holding a phone at the water's edge. It's precious, but it's easy to lose in a camera roll that never gets revisited.

A personalized photo magnet or keepsake turns that moment into something tangible — something that sits on a fridge, a shelf, or a nightstand, and gets seen again and again. Not just on the anniversary of the day, but on ordinary Tuesdays, when a reminder of faith and new beginning is exactly what someone needed to see.

Ideas For Baptism Keepsakes

If you're part of I Left It in the River on July 25th, or know someone who will be, a keepsake made from that day is a way of saying: this mattered, and it still does.

Your Photos. Your Moments. Your Story. We press them so they stick around.

  • A photo magnet capturing the exact moment of coming up out of the water
  • A keepsake for the person who was baptized, marking the date and the decision
  • A coaster or magnet gifted to the family member or friend who walked alongside them in faith
  • A small set made for the whole baptism group from I Left It in the River, so the shared experience isn't just remembered individually, but together

How a 3.5-inch photo magnet becomes part of the story

Our custom photo magnets are professionally produced as 3.5-inch round keepsakes. They are big enough to actually see the faces in the picture, but small enough to belong on the refrigerator, the filing cabinet at work, or the side of a metal lamp in grandma's bedroom.

You provide the photograph. We help you make sure the resolution, the crop, and the framing honor the moment. Most people send us a phone photo or a scan of an older print, and we walk them through the rest. The keepsake itself does the work after that — quietly, every day, for years.

Across the Yakima Valley

Families across the Yakima Valley have a way of holding tight to the photographs that matter. We hear it from grandparents in Yakima, from young couples in Moxee, and from churches and ministries gathering in Toppenish. Wherever you live in the valley — from the orchard roads of Tieton to the riverfront in Prosser — a keepsake photo magnet can quietly carry your story from one chapter to the next.
